dBEE

Terms

The agreement.

What you can expect from dBEE, and what we ask in return. Written to be read rather than to be survived.

  1. 01Who you are dealing with

dBEE is a clothing label based in Accra, Ghana. These terms cover your use of https://dbeegh.com and anything you reserve or buy through it. Using the site means you accept them.

If you need to reach a person about anything on this page, email hello@dbeegh.com.

  2. 02A reservation is not an order

Reserving records your interest and holds a place in the queue for a colour and size. It creates no contract of sale, takes no payment, and binds neither of us.

A contract is formed only when we have confirmed your piece with you directly and you have paid. Until that moment either of us can walk away without consequence, and you never owe us anything for a reservation you decide against.

  3. 03Stock is limited and honestly so

Drop 01 is a limited run. Reservations are worked through in the order they arrived, and it is possible that a colour or size runs out before we reach yours.

If that happens we will tell you, offer what alternatives exist, and refund anything you have paid in full. We will not quietly substitute a different colour or size for the one you asked for.

  4. 04Prices and mistakes

Prices are shown in Ghana cedis, with an approximate US dollar figure for orientation only. The cedi price is the one that governs. Prices may change before Drop 01 opens; the price we confirm with you before payment is the price you pay.

If a price is displayed wrongly through an obvious error, we are not obliged to sell at it. We will tell you the correct price before taking any payment and you are free to decline.

  5. 05Delivery and risk

Delivery timings are given honestly and in good faith, but they are estimates and not guarantees, particularly where a third-party courier is involved.

Risk in a piece passes to you when it is delivered to you or to someone you have nominated to receive it. Ownership passes once it has been paid for in full.

  6. 06Returns

Our returns policy sits on its own page and forms part of these terms. Nothing in it removes or reduces any right you have under the consumer law of Ghana.

  7. 07Using the site properly

Please do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to this site or the systems behind it, submit reservations in bulk or under details that are not yours, or scrape it for commercial purposes.

We rate-limit reservations and may decline or remove any that appear automated or fraudulent.

  8. 08What belongs to us

The dBEE name, the Falcon emblem, the wordmark, the garment designs, the photography and the text on this site belong to dBEE. You are welcome to share and link to pages; you are not licensed to reproduce the marks or designs commercially, or to put them on your own product.

  9. 09The limits of our liability

We are responsible for supplying a garment that matches its description and is of satisfactory quality, and for putting it right if it is not.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost earnings, lost opportunity, or costs arising from a delivery arriving later than estimated. Except where the law does not allow a limit, our total liability for any piece is capped at what you paid for it.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

  10. 10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the business grows — most obviously when checkout opens and payment is taken on the site rather than in conversation. The version in force is the one published here on the day you reserve or buy, and the date it last changed is shown at the foot of this page.

  11. 11Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute. If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

  12. 12If something goes wrong

Tell us first, at hello@dbeegh.com or on the channel you have been talking to us on. Most things are a misunderstanding and are fixed in a message. We would far rather hear a complaint than lose you quietly.
