What we keep.
Short, because we collect very little.
- What a reservation collects
- Your name, a phone number, the channel you would rather be reached on and the handle to use there, your city, and the colour and size you want. Optionally a note.
- What an order adds
- An address, and only when you choose delivery — collecting at the shop needs none. And how you will pay: Mobile Money or cash. Never a card number and never a MoMo PIN. There is no payment processor behind this site, so there is nowhere for either to go.
- Your account
- Your phone number is your account. If you set a PIN, we keep it only in a scrambled form that cannot be turned back into the digits, even by us. It is there so you can sign back in on another phone.
- Your messages
- What you write to us in your account, and what we write back, is kept with your account in our database. That is what lets the conversation carry on from any phone you sign in on. It is deleted with your account.
- What is kept to stop abuse
- The internet address each reservation and order came from, stored with it, so that bulk and automated submissions can be spotted and refused. It is not used for anything else.
- What stays on your phone
- Your browser keeps your bag, your details and a sign-in key, so the site remembers you between visits. They never leave your device except to reach our own server. Clearing your site data removes them; your number and PIN bring your account back.
- Where it goes
- Into our own database, and nowhere else. We do not sell it, share it, or pass it to advertisers. There are no third-party analytics or tracking scripts on this site.
- How long we keep it
- Your details and your dBEE ID for as long as you are a member, or until you ask us to remove you. Orders stay in our sales records once they are complete.
- Removing yourself
- Email info@dbeegh.com from any address, or message the channel you signed up on. We delete your reservations, your messages and, if you have never ordered, your dBEE ID. Orders are the exception: they stay in our sales records under the name and number they were placed with. No reason needed and no follow-up questions.
